I am going to cheat a little and copy some of this off of my website. It is difficult to describe myself. I am quirky, unique, and silly. It has taken me most of my life to accept the fact that I am uniquely me and now that I have accepted that fact I am so happy. I am a good person with a big heart. I treat people with respect and kindness. That is a little about me now for the copy part.
I am Michelle. I am 38 years old. I put roots down in Apex, NC 4 years ago. I am the Mommy to one very special little boy Josh who is eleven. Josh was diagnosed with a rare chromosomal abnormality called 1p36 deletion syndrome when he was only three weeks old. Needless to say we live a very special life and I feel blessed everyday because of our different life.
I have recently re-discovered working out and eating well. (so I can chase the toddlers around and get that perfect photo) I am extremely animated and I am most definitely an extravert.
My love of photography started in middle school. In high school I was a photographer for our yearbook and in the photography club. I also took a photography class in college and continue to take classes when I see something new I can learn. You can never have too much knowledge. I never dreamed I could make a career of it until this year, I am so excited to be doing what I love. I like to capture my clients being themselves, I believe that is when you get the best photos. I am primarily a natural light photographer specializing in family imagery, children, engagements, couples, and maternity. I also adore photographing children with special needs. As a special needs Mom I have the unique ability to see past a child’s disability and capture the true essence of that child. I want each client to feel at ease. I strive to make each session fun and effortless.
I love what I do and I hope you will consider allowing me to capture your family’s beautiful memories.
